Gofundme Raises Nearly $30K for Owner of Torched Limo

A few days ago, America watched as the left unleashed a string of violent attacks on people and businesses across our nation’s capital. The most notable were rioters setting a limousine owned by a Muslim immigrant, Muhammad Ashraf, ablaze. They did this for no other reason than the fact that the limo looked like it might belong to a rich person, and in their rage the leftist radicals decided to destroy it, oblivious to who owned it or what their actual beliefs might have been.

Today, due to the generosity of hundreds who felt sympathy for the wrongly targeted man, a Gofundme account has successfully raised almost $30K for Ashraf. Many of the contributors also took the time to let the world know just which side has decided to actually come out and help, leaving messages with their donations including “Showing the Left what tolerance looks like” or simply “From a Trump Supporter”. A good number of donations also bore the now legendary hashtag “#MAGA”, reminding any who view the page just who is actually out to make a difference in the lives of the hard working American citizen.

Luckily, the driver of the vehicle escaped with only minor injuries, but Ashraf, who himself was not a Trump supporter, had a few words to say to those who decided it was a good idea to trash his property and injure his employee.

“I did not agree with many of the things he said, but that still does not give me the right to go and affect someone’s livelihood,” Ashraf told reporters. “I really don’t think we need to take this route.”

More than 200 people were arrested in the aftermath of the riots, and, as some small consolation to those who were harmed or had their businesses damaged, the vast majority of those apprehended stand to face felony riot charges, which hold a maximum of 10 years behind bars and a quarter of a million dollars worth of fines.

The Gofundme, for its part, has raised a good amount of money but it still has a way to go if it wants to fully cover the losses the limo company has incurred. With a loss of up to $70k mentioned by several sources, it looks like there is still a long road ahead for Mr. Ashraf if he wants to be made fully whole again, however, the numbers on the Gofundme keep rising.

Although only time will tellt, raising almost $30K in ten days is not a bad way to start out. It also shows the world that those behind Trump are actually willing to put up money from their own pockets if they think it will go in any way towards Making America Great Again.
