President Trump Needs to Declassify “Obama Wiretapping” Evidence

This morning, President Trump unleashed on his predecessor for wiretapping. 44th President Barack Obama was accused of wiretapping phones at Trump Tower by the current president over Twitter.

As of now, there isn’t 100% conclusive evidence that Obama had wiretapped the Trump Tower to hurt the campaign. Yahoo News contacted the White House to learn more about the evidence, however, they were told that the president had “just learned” about the incident.

Nevertheless, there is still some preliminary information about this issue. Back in November, a day before the election, Louise Mensch from HeatStreet uncovered that “the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.”

Mensch also added that the original request had been denied in June 2016, yet the second request “was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank.”

In addition to the warrant request, it is known that the NSA spies on US citizens. Thanks to whistle blower Edward Snowden, mass surveillance programs conducted by United States agencies were revealed to journalists, who informed the people.

In 2013, Barack Obama stated on the Jay Leno Show that “there is no spying on Americans,” and that “there is no domestic spying program.” The government has continually denied any such thing, even with Snowden’s evidence. The easiest thing to do is to deny accusations and move on.

On the contrary, pointing the finger is also easy. Therefore, President Trump must release the information and evidence that President Obama wiretapped him. With this evidence presented to the public, President Trump could win over the hearts of many democrats and independents, especially those who despise government spying.

Without evidence, his claims would be just as backed up as the intelligence agencies claims of “Russian hacking.”

It seems as though the White House will wait a day or even a week before the information is brought forward. This may also play into the hands of the Trump administration. The mainstream media has already attacked Trump’s claims stating they are loony “conspiracy theories.” If the media continues to attack Trump’s claims, and then Trump releases the solid evidence, it could have them all looking foolish. Once again this would be confirmation of “fake media.”
